OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSESMENT, INTERVENTION & CAPACITY BUILDING

Baby & Bloom offers mobile Occupational Therapy support for clients and families from birth - kindergarten.

Support includes a thorough assessment of goals and concerns impacting on your little ones ability to engage and participate in their, and their families, day to day life. From there, we determine a plan for intervention that suits your family. Sessions only happen weekly at most, so Baby & Bloom is passionate about focusing on capacity building and coaching for families to best support their children all day, every day and across all environments.

We can support concerns such as;
- Challenges with fine motor tasks
- Sensory processing differences and difficulties
- Challenges with self-care tasks such as toileting, dressing and hygiene
- Challenges with attention, concentration or following instructions
- Concerns with meeting developmental milestones
- Challenges with understanding emotions and emotional regulation
- Social skills and play skills

- School readiness

Neuroprotective Developmental Care:

We can support you with.
- Feeding challenges (breast & bottle)
- Navigating the way through sleep challenges with no sleep training and focusing on biologically normal infant sleep
- The feeling that your baby is more unsettled than ‘normal’.

- The challenges that come with journeying into Motherhood including identify shifts, new roles and routines and psychosensory overwhelm.
